The finished voice
The notes are still just the major scale, unchanged across all four voices:

The instrument, though, is now full: three slightly detuned copies stacked for a wide chorus, the same gentle vibrato underneath, and a filter rolling off the brittle highs for warmth. Four steps in, the same eight degrees that began as a bare sine now sound like a finished pad — and not one of those numbers ever changed. The note data is the constant; the voice is what moved.
